SLICKY

Brutal enemy of Tom Flanagan, Simone F. Schmidt is a person who does lots of different types of art, like singing, illustration, screenprinting, graphic design. Most of her subjects deal with the opposition to, and identification of those powers and people who hand down the raw deals that most of the people in the world get. She lives in Toronto and sings in the band $100 . She is currently working on her two clothing line 'Man,' and finished christmas packaging for the band FUCKED UP's X-mas 7" "DAVID".

In 2007 she co-curated the show "40 Years of Israeli Occupation" at the Toronto Free Gallery as part of the Mayworks Festival. In 2004 her illustrations were published by AK Press in Ramor Ryan's novel "Clandestines." She's a contributor to community papers like 'Alwattan', 'They Call it Struggle for A Reason' and to walls and stalls all over.
